Enter as a pair if you already have a partner. If you would like to enter as a single, please do and we will do our best to match you up with someone of a similar playing standard.
Entrants are graded into a division with others of roughly equivalent strengths. There are enough divisions to ensure all playing abilities are catered for.
Each team plays against every other team in their division and then, if time permits, the top two may play off in a fun (set tie-break only) final.
Matches are played against a fixed time period, finishing on the sound of the hooter.
Normal short deuces are played (we will explain on the day what “normal” means. )
Start Time and Finish Time
We aim to start on time and for 2023 that means no later than 9.30am on court. After play finishes, there is a sausage sizzle and social time where players are invited to take refreshments, browse and bid through the wonderful prizes in the silent auctions and raffle. All formal activities are winding down by around 2.30pm/3.00pm but participants are invited to continue to visit and enjoy an extra hit or simply continue to relax and socialise with old and new friends in the pleasant grounds of Cottesloe Tennis Club.
Lunch will be at conclusion of play.
Cottesloe Tennis Club is spectacularly located overlooking the ocean. We play on fine grass courts which are entered via the main gate in Napier Street, Cottesloe.
We are fortunate, through the generosity of our supporters, to be able to award a superb door prize at the conclusion of the day’s formalities.
